Silicone Oil Types: DM, PH, MH, OH, AM, PE, FL, AL Explained
PDMS-backbone silicone oils can be modified at pendant or terminal positions to introduce new functionalities. The modification type determines the application.

How to choose
- ▸For inert lubrication, mold release, or personal care: DM series.
- ▸For crosslinking silicone rubber or waterproofing textiles: MH series (Si–H donor).
- ▸For building RTV sealant base polymers or silicone resins: OH series.
- ▸For textile softening, hair conditioning, or dye fixation: AM or AL series.
